Dayton is in a rain delay right now.

Sarasota is down 2-0 in the second. Camillo Vazquez is on the mound for the Reds.

Chattanooga is tied at 0 in the first. Valdez gets them down in the first, allowing 1 hit.

Louisville lost earlier today 8-2. Josh Hall got roughed up for 7 runs in 5 innings.

Dayton still under the rain.

Sarasota down 2-0 after 2. Javon Moran and Drew Anderson have hits.

Chattanooga is up 3-0 after 1. Joey Votto has a hit and RBI. Noochie Varner has a HR and 2 RBI.

update in Dayton- The rain is getting really light up there, so hopefully they can get the game in tonight.

Chattanooga gave up 3 runs in the top of the 2nd. 2 were unearned thanks to a Joey Votto fielding error.

Sarasota still down 2-0. Through 3 innings.

Just got back from Dayton. The game has been rained out tonight. So there should be a doubleheader tomorrow night.

Chattanooga is down 5-3 in the middle of the 6th inning.

Sarasota is down 8-1 after 6. They have 3 hits. 1 by Javon Moran and 2 by Drew Anderson. Brandon Roberts is 0-2 with 2 walks.

Just got back from Dayton. The game has been rained out tonight. So there should be a doubleheader tomorrow night. Hey! I might get to see two games tomorrow if I can get up to Dayton in under a hour...:)

May 17th Game Against Fort Wayne Washed Out

DAYTON, OH --- The Wednesday night, May 17th home game between the Dayton Dragons and the Fort Wayne Wizards has been cancelled due to rain. The teams will make up the game as part of a double-header in Dayton on Thursday, May 18th.

The Wizards and Dragons will play two, 7-inning games. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m., with the first game beginning at 6:00 p.m. There will be 20-minute break in-between games. Only tickets printed with the date Thursday, May 18, 2006 will be honored.

For fans holding tickets for the Wednesday, May 17th game, there are two options:

(a) Fans can exchange their May 17th tickets for a ticket of equal or lesser value; or fans may exchange one (1) stadium seating bowl ticket for two (2) lawn tickets for any remaining Dragons home game during the 2006 season. This can be done via the Dragons Box Office.

(b) Fans may receive a full refund by completing a rain out form that is available at the Dragons Box Office or downloadable below (see Download Attachment). Tickets must be included with the form and returned to the Dragons front office at Fifth Third Field. Refunds will be issued by check and will be mailed within 30 days.
