I think if Aurilia was playing the normal position that should have been a double play. Looked like he was maybe playing in to guard against a squeeze.

Umpire really screwed that inning for the Reds. Aurilia took a 2-0 pitch at the eyes for a called strike. Should have been 3-0, instead we now have a double play.

I sincerely don't think it matters with this offense. When an entire team (excepting Lopez) goes on a 30 day slump, something is very seriously wrong. That's not just the magical force of regression to the mean, that's some bad hitting habits.

2 or 3 players can have an effect on the rest of the team. It can be contagious.

I don't think the coaching is giving out radical coaching advice just yet.

I think they simply realize that this team is in a funk/slump.

Nowhere because I have enough sense to not judge a player based on his last 10 AB's w/ RISP.
