Tonight's game is available in high definition on INHD. Unfortunately due to the blackout rules I think that is going to be blacked out in the local area.

well, he is Greg Maddux you know.

TMBS, the Reds have hit 18 HR's in their last 48 innings against Maddux and his ERA against the Reds over the last 3 years in 6.75, so you may be on to something.

I suggested in a thread earlier today (in Live on the 1b platoon) that Hatty really should be hitting in the #2 hole. Maybe Narron is listening because I have been critical of his nonsensical lineups.

Yep.

Dunn can return to a .285+ hitter if he can continue to hit outside pitches the other way (like he did in 2001 and early 2002). A .300 hitting Dunn would put his OBP up around .450 and SLG over .600, which would possibily makes him one of the top three hitters in the game.

An Avon Lady was delivering products in a high-rise and was riding in the elevator. Suddenly, she had the powerful urge to fart. Since no one was in the elevator, she let it go - and it was a doozy.

Of course, the elevator then stopped at the next floor, so she quickly used some Avon Pine-Scented Spray to cover up the smell. A man entered the elevator and immediately made a face.

"Holy cow! What's that smell?"

"I don't know, sir. I don't smell anything. What does it smell like to you?"

The blonde walks into a drugstore and asks the pharmacist for some bottom deodorant. The pharmacist, a little bemused, explains to the woman that they don't sell anything called bottom deodorant, and never have. Unfazed, the blonde assures him that she has been buying the stuff from this store on a regular basis, and would like some more. ''I'm sorry,'' says the pharmacist, ''we don't have any.''

''But I always get it here,'' says the blonde.

''Do you have the container it comes in?''

''Yes!'' says the blonde, ''I will go and get it.''

She returns with the container and hands it to the pharmacist, who looks at it and says to her, ''This is just a normal stick of underarm deodorant.''

The annoyed blonde snatches the container back and reads out loud from the container: ''To apply, push up bottom.''

Rogers Hornsby (1922 and 1925) and Ted Williams (1942 and 1947).

Both players are among the greatest the game has ever seen, IMO, and an interesting note is that Hornsby eclipsed the .400 batting average mark in both his Triple Crown years.

A Brit, A Frenchman, and a Polack (sorry Lebowski) were captured by natives in a remote island. The Native Chief then ordered the three men to be executed at the stake. The chief then explained what would he do to them. "We waste not here. We use your skulls to carry water, your bones for weapons, and skins for canoes." Do you have anything else to say before we kill you?"

The Brit yelled "God Save the Queen", grabbed a hidden pistol and killed himself.

The Frenchman yelled "Viva le King", pulled a hidden dagger and stabbed himself in the heart.
