More than likely, Narron feels like this is the, with apologies to Edskin, The Most Important Game Of The Season and he wants surer hands at 3rd than EE. I do not necessarily agree with it but other than a little range and a little power, we are not losing a lot.

I have a feeling Suppan will be watching the game from the clubhouse by the 4th. This is going to be reminiscent of when they pulled off that Houston-Arizona massacre a few years back with St. Louis playing the part of the Diamondbacks.

EE's errors don't help either....HOWEVER, he should be playing anyway, so he can improve. He's still a young and raw player, at 23

Well, if one of the reasons for Aurilia displacing EE tonite is for his glove, excuse me for bringing heightened expectations for his play. This kind of stuff still pisses me off about this team.

1st and 2nd, 0 outs, against a bad pitcher and they fail to score. That inning really hurt - you've got to score in that situation against a pitcher like Suppan.

Claussen is a back end of the rotation guy this year. Look up #4 starters, we'll all be quite giddy about what Claussen is giving this team. I'm frustrated he hasn't stepped up to a solid #3, but you're not going to replace him with anything close to what he's done or represents for a future.
On a game note, he gets hosed on what should have been strike 3 looking to Jimmy.
