I saw Reyes pitch in KC a couple of weeks back, and he was very impressive. Then again, KC's lineup would be middle of the pack in the International League.

So, Kearns gets the day off, with Freel in left. And Ross is catching again. I'm not confident that Ross'll continue hitting all season, but there's no reason to take him out of the lineup right now.

I do kind of hate to see Kearns not in there, though.

I agree, it wasn't so much he screwed up not sending Griffey, but rather sending him and then stopping him. Should have had him held up from the get go.

Sure hope EE only had a cramp, would not want to lose him for a long period of time.

Milton sure looks good again. Is it just me or does Milton's follow-thru look different this season? I am going to try and find some game film of him last year. It looks like he's using that left leg differently, maybe it's a result of stronger legs.

Anyoneknow his (Milton's) velocity tonight? It seems when his knee is ok, he is able to touch 91 or thereabouts which makes him more effective.

I saw him in Detroit where he was just blah and he topped out at 87. It was his first start off the DL though.
