Reds:
Phillips
Hatteberg
Griffey
Aurilia
Dunn
Kearns
Ross
Olmedo
Arroyo

Brewers:
Weeks
Clark
Koskie
Lee
Fielder
Hall
Jenkins
Miller
Davis

reds44 would like to see Hatteberg and Ross flopped, but reds44 don't mind the lineup. Glad to see Felipe getting a day off.

Go Reds!
:beerme:

P.S. We are going to go with the third person thing to try and break the streak. reds44 remembers it working last year or the year before (reds44 can't remember), so reds44 thinks we should try it again.

Go along if you want to, but if you don't and we lose it is your fault.;)

LincolnparkRed

Lincoln park red has no problem with this lineup. Then again LincolnparkRed wouldn't mind seeing Kearns get the night off as well but then Freel has been K'ing a lot recently and LIncolnpark red doesn't consider Q an option either.

Doc Scott thinks: Oh, no. It's the third-person thing again.

reds44
06-13-2006, 06:09 PM
reds44 thinks we need to solve this catcher situation. LaRue never plays, and Valentin only plays against Maddux or when Elizardo pitches. With Larue's salary and not being anyone's personal catcher reds44 thinks he is the odd man out.

KronoRed
06-13-2006, 06:09 PM
Krono thinks the team hasn't won with Rich at cleanup and that might be something to mix up.

Isn't thrid person just when you don't say I. me, etc. but instead you say your name? Reds44 didn't think reds44 had to say reds44 thinks. Reds44 guesses reds44 could be wrong.

That was alot of reds44's.

Adam Dunn is hitting lefties better than righties this year, yet the announcers keep dwelling on him being better against righties. Maybe in the past... but not this year. They need to take a look.

Pedro doesn't agree. Valentin is more valuable than Cruz b/c he has better power and can catch if needed.

Pedro would also like to point out that Valentin's PH stats this year are very similar to Cruz's last year and that teh fact that Cruz didn;t belong on a major league roster is proven by the fact that he's not playing in the bigs this year.

Cyclone792 has faith that the Reds pull it off tonight, if for no other reason than the simple fact that Arroyo's pitching. Arroyo kind of reminds Cyclone792 of the Dude. Cyclone792 ponders if Arroyo really is the Dude.

Sometimes there's a man ... Cyclone792 won't say a hero, 'cause, what's a hero? Sometimes, there's a man. And Cyclone792's talkin' about Arroyo here - the Dude from Key West. Sometimes, there's a man, well, he's the man for his time and place. He fits right in there. And that's the Dude.

Mark it W, Dude. Next game.

The part that bugs me about it is that sooner or later he's going to see a righty in this game. Why not bat Dunn 4th (who's got an even higher OPS vs. LHPs) and Aurilia 5th so that late in the game the opposing manager can't cherry pick and easy out vs. your cleanup hitter by sticking a RH reliever in there?

Griffey's always loved the first pitch and I know that. Doesn't bother me at all which is why I simply stated that he loves that first pitch. The only time when it's generally not a good idea to swing at the first pitch is late in a tie or close game when the pitcher is having a hard time finding the zone and runners are on base.
