Encarnacion (sprained left ankle) is eligible to come off the disabled list Thursday, but that likely will be the day he joins Louisville on a rehab assignment. Encarnacion worked out Monday in Cincinnati, taking batting practice, fielding grounders and doing agility drills at about 85-90 percent intensity, said Mann.
Last night during the game Marc said barring any setbacks EE will be back for the Royals series next week.
Matt Belisle (lower back) is scheduled to pitch tonight and Thursday for Chattanooga. Thursday, he'll follow Homer Bailey's first start for the Lookouts.
If all goes well Belisle could be back on Friday.
