I would guess Freel in CF, Aurilia at 3B and Hatteberg at 1st.....unless Castro makes an appearance instead of Rich.

If Aurilia's bicep is still a problem, then I'm guessing Castro at 3B - Freel in CF (at least that's what I'm hoping).

Hard to do. Pedro throws strikes. He just doesn't throw that hard anymore.

Good to see Narron giving Griffey the day off. His ''every game is GAME 7 of the WS mentality was really ticking me off''.

Yeah, and the entirety of last year he was the second worst regular pitcher in all of baseball.

My thinking on that is: if he could pitch "as well" as he's pitched this season last year why didn't he? And if he couldn't, because of injury, why didn't he go on the DL?

Either way, he's a tool and an awful pitcher. He's just about the only Red besides Tomko who I've ever rooted against. He's an embarrassment to this great franchise.

Because of that stupid knee, I'm willing to bet.

That said, I do not expect great things of Milton; I always prepare myself for the worst. That said, anything can happen in baseball, and I never concede a loss early in a game, especially in Shea Stadium.

And all that said, there's no question that FCB is the board's negative nellie, and I do laugh at the extent of the pessimism sometimes, but I don't blame him. Best-case scenario, the Reds surprise, we're all thrilled with the win, and happily eats his words. Worst case scenario, he's right.
