I agree. I'm a big proponent for this type of baseball in the right situation, but this doesn't qualify. Not only is it too early, you're doing it with a guy who is a hot hitter and isn't a huge DP threat because of his speed. Plus, you leave a base open for them to pitch carefully to another hot hitter.

It's all about the situation. Sometimes that sacrifice bunt is exactly the right play. This wasn't one of those times.

Precisely why Ross shouldn't have gotten anything near the plate. Castro hitting 8th is like having 2 pitchers back to back in the lineup.

Milton's getting shaky. Bobbling that ball was probably a help for the Reds. Sounds like he wouldn't have gotten the runner at home anyway, and that got Nady greedy thinking he could get two, where he got nailed.
