Needs to be able to get on base to do that!

I'll be the first to ask, where is Freel? And RA batting fourth? Next, Narron will come up with a six-man rotation.

Should be a very good series for the bats and bullpen to 'get well'.

I see Dunn emerging as the major league dinger leader by Sunday night.

The Reds have been underwhelming against poor teams at times. This series scares me because I can see them coming flat and losing a couple of games very easily. I would like to see Freel(.395 OBP) batting 1st and try Hatteberg (.400 OBP) 2nd. But instead we get see Richie Rich play 3rd and bat 4th.

06-27-2006, 05:55 PM
Dunn sure won't be stealing any bases, and he'll have a hard time getting it out of the infield if they've shifted over. If Lopez can get to second it should be a piece of cake stealing third when Dunn or Griffey's up, that is if the shift is on. I would like to see Freel in there???

With this lineup Narron is saying that he considers Aurilia a better hitter than Freel and Kearns.

With Milton pitching (flyballs)...there is little need for strong defense at 3B (not that I'm saying that Aurilia provides it).

Being 1.5 games out of first right now....I think Jerry's job is safe.

It shouldn't be.

Logic makes me give more credit for the Reds place in the standings to a weak division than a man who thinks Aurilia should be an everyday player and cleanup hitter.

Holy crap! Have the Reds decided to care about playing meaningful games in late June?

Knock me over with a feather. Fire, heart, fewer groundouts to the second basemen! How to process it all!!!!

Or maybe they're just mauling a bad pitcher after getting a first look at him.
