I can't believe that Freel hasn't had more playing time at 3B.

Aurilia's .318 OBP makes me want to hurl.

Freel, Hatteberg, and Dunn in the same lineup would make opposing pitchers want to hurl.

How about we all just comment on the game or a specific post idea rather than commenting about other posters? Seems to me that most of the time this crud hits the proverbial fan in a game thread, it's initiated by a comment about the latter rather than the former and it spirals into the abyss.

Can't blame him for being upset but Ross has played better than he has. This isn't like Aurilia last year who was cut twice and thought he deserved to play every day. Jason has proved himself over the last few years and now he's sitting on the bench. He probably figures that making a stink in the media is going to help him get traded sooner than later.

I feel for LaRue. I understand why he isn't playing more but if you look at it from his viewpoint he really got hosed. He had a minor surgery that kept him out at the beginning of the year (even though he didn't want to go on the dl) and then because the guy they picked up was hitting well, he lost his starting spot and is now pretty much the number 3 catcher.

He had a good game last night, so he may be getting back on track offensively, which may help make him more marketable for some relief pitching. Since he's been with the team the longest, its sad that he may not see them get to the promised land. And I'm sure he knows this.

I could care less to be honest.. I've never been a big "rusty" larue fan.. always thought he was a mediocre catcher on both ends of the game.. if we could get even a marginal low level prospect, to unload the contract, i'd be happy... the 3 headed catching monster needs to go back to 2.

I even asked Porn Stach Javy about it when the Reds came to Denver.. he didn't seem to thrilled about it.
