I think Coffey has the stuff to be a closer....eventually....he obviously is not there yet. I think we have about run through all of our big league options and we are notgoing to make a trade for a closer. We may get help, but not a closer.

Wish I had a better idea than running Todd out there every day.

I am going on strike I refuse to watch the Reds while George and Chris are on the air. I have had it. I can't stand it. I am really disappointed in Narron as well. If I don't have to look at Narron, I can't see his facial expressions telling me how much he is trying to think.

Yeah, but Han risked life and limb to bail Luke out a couple times. I couldn't see Marty wandering off into the Hoth night to save someone -- especially if he had to go watch 24 or something.

I could definitely see him shooting Greedo.

Jim Leland would of came to Cincinnati...what would our record be? Would our line-ups make more sense? Would he have gone absolutely postal on the bullpen in the press? Would of been fun to watch.

NO difference. The difference would be that Leyland would bunt and run the Reds out of a lot more runs than Narron. But the players would be whipped into shape, that's for sure. FWIW, I think the Tigers will suffer a meltdown in the second half of the season.
