Guys...lets not forget that this team was picked to be DEAD LAST and that the pitching has over performed to this point while the BP has been as bad if not worse than expected...all of this is a gift...and don't hold it against Special K and Mr. C if the team ends up dead last, why? Look at when they took over and look at where they are right now.

The thing about Yan is....you really don't want to use him if the game is on the line unless you have to (like last night, for example, which he did do well). But if it's a blowout, you can use him to eat innings to save other guys. Teams need those too...the only bummer is, the Reds bullpen is full of them.

Mays can provide the team several intangibles, can provide them with veteran leadership out of the back of the rotation and has also been on a winning team before.

BTW, why has Narron placed Mays/Milton next to each other in the rotation the last few times around Same goes for Harang/Arroyo in each series. Seems you'd want to split up your two lefty gas-cans a bit to mix in with the 2-3 righty guys that can actually pitch for real.

Bring back Harang after Mays pitches. Something, anything...

Guys...lets not forget that this team was picked to be DEAD LAST and that the pitching has over performed to this point while the BP has been as bad if not worse than expected...all of this is a gift...and don't hold it against Special K and Mr. C if the team ends up dead last, why? Look at when they took over and look at where they are right now.

Amazing that a solid player like Diaz couldn't catch a break with the Royals. The Braves plucked him for next to nothing.
