Looks like they will miss Bray the most, but almost everyone is excited about the trade. But it is what it is. We are trying to get some help this year. I guess we are going for it. Too early for me to tell yet. Interesting though.

I would object to their frequent description of Ryan Wagner as a "good prospect"

Kearns will never go 30/100 in that ballpark and Felipe will never go 20 homers 40 SBs.

The missed a zero.

AK is very likely to give you 300 AB's and 100K's on a consistent basis regardless of park.

If by 30 you mean days on the DL and 100 total games played well then Kearns will probably give you that just about every season.

It is just me, or does the RedsZone seem to have more volume and depth than either of these forums?

RedsZone also has roughly 6 years of growth and development behind it. There are some fantastic and dedicated people running the show and some fantastic and insightful people posting great content -- many of whom have been regular contributors for 4,5, and 6 years.

Nationals, as an organization, have only been playing baseball for a year and a half. It'll take their "community" of fans time to grow -- both in the DC area and on the internets.

Heres what some people are saying in the Nationals game day thread:

Lopez is the worst defensive shortstop in the majors according to one metric, apparently. Now we see why. He also failed to get to a ball in the first inning that Clayton would have. Let's get used to it.

I am always accustomed to good defensive SS (Clayton, Guzman), so when ppl used to say that its good to have a good defensive SS, I used to say, "Well, all of them are big-leaguers, so they can all field about the same." Now I see the difference. Oh well, now lets see Lopez hit a few homers, as Clayton never did, as Clayton never hit a HR this year.

Lopez is 0 for 3 with an error. What a way to start his Nationals career!

Bases loaded, pitcher falling apart, and yet he goes down swinging at absolute garbage

May not be the steal of a trade everyone is talking about. LOL.
