Are Ross and E E both hurt

Switch Dunn and Aurilia ... or better Phillips and Dunn. That's a weird 1-9 lineup it seems like.

I'm sure Narron has told Larue if he starts to contribute, he'll play. In the two games since the break, Larue has been getting on base. He was in the low .170s and he has it up to .200. I'd probably keep him in there to see if you can get him out of his funk. If you can, he becomes A LOT more tradeable.

Not sure about EE but if these are the guys who are going to play, I'm fine with it. I don't see how switching this guy or that guy gives us any better chance to win.

Griffey or Dunn batting 7th or 8th would be about the only thing I would call wierd. if you bat Dunn 4th and then Hatty you have back to back to back lefties. And you call Narron's line-up weird.

The only possible positive about an EdE-less lineup is the possibility that RA's being showcased. Any Pads scouts in the house?

I just got this PM from goreds:

I am not sure if I should post on redszone due to legal reasons.

You can should be able to get the Reds online

Not sure what to say ............

Anyone know what this is all about?

Arroyo doesn't have his best stuff, but he's battled his way through 6 scoreless innings. I'm thinking he could go 7 and then the pen comes in..........guess the new guys will get a chance to shine this series of close games.

Lopez just struck out with the bases juiced for the Nats Kearns has scored a run earlier

I wish the best for both of those guys, but I still say this move makes us a better ball club now, and in the future.

Hatt comes through again, and scores the 1st run of the game. I never would have thought Hatt would have been so big for us when we got him.

Me too...lol. Did you see the play last night when Casey, Rande, Kearns, and Felo where all involved in the game ending DP...lol. Talk about a Reds reunion.

MaineRed, I was simply giving you a private message concerning a radio station website that is broadcasting the Reds game tonight. Due to MLB and possibly redszone rules etc, I was not sure if it should be posted publicly. I was only trying to help you out since you had no audio of the game tonight. :help:

Sorry for any confusion.

My bad goreds2.

I though you were saying YOU, for legal reasons shouldn't post on redszone, not that you shouldn't post the link.

Doh!

Really? What would Edwin have done tonight? I lost my crystal ball that tells me how Edwin would do each day if he started.

Stupid Narron. I guess today was one of the days Edwin would of gone 3-4 with two doubles. If only JN knew this.

Gary has not impressed so far, although one of those runs should not have scored (I like Denorfia's defense, but he'll still make some mistakes...). And most of the hist have been bloops, but he's had too many fouls and not enough whiffs for my taste.

JohhnyBench1001
07-15-2006, 08:31 PM
He's getting ahead of batters consistantly, but can't seem to finish them off. Hopefully he is still adjusting, and will be the pitcher we need him to be from here on out.

He will be OK (probably pressing a little right now).

Let's pull this one out tonight!

Why are we letting Clayton hit for himself? Hopefully I have to eat crow for posting this, but thats a price I'll gladly pay. Nope, no crow, strikeout for Royce... sone of a bee sting.

Awesome win, but I'm a little disapointed that Arroyo didn't get the win. Imagine that, all Denorfia does all night is hit to the shortstop, but it finally works out for him.

Tough night for Magic I am sure he wants to impress. Bray looked good in his inning though.

That was a play where his speed made the difference.........he made the SS have to charge on that ball, and caused the ball to go by him. Welcome to the show Deno.

Denorfia is CLUTCH! Hope that's his first of many big hits for the Reds!! Starting Pitching looking good and Bray had a good inning. We've won three in a row after the break/trade.
What's not to like! :D

And this one belongs to the Reds!!!!!!!

Even though Marty was not here to call it, Steve Stewart did a good job!

Wow, what a win. We deserve some breaks after that Brewer series. (Bloops dropping for them. Line drives were outs for us)

This team reminds me of the 1990 Team because for some reason i always expect them to be able to come back and win.

Even though Marty was not here to call it, Steve Stewart did a good job!

I like Steve, but there is something about Marty's emotion that Steve lacks in calling a game winning play or home run, but I can't put my finger on it. Marty acts like he grew up with the Reds as his favorite team since he was a kid. I guess that is part of what separates Marty from Steve.

Did anyone here Joe cheering for Griffey's homerun ball to get out a couple night's ago? That was great to here!

For those who saw the game, how did Bray look? What did his fastball clock in at and did his stuff have good movement?
