Wasn't he an ex-Red that became a Met?

I'd go with Seaver but I was also a big Pete Harnisch fan. Other names: Mike Vail, Frankie Viola, Joe Nolan, Jeff Reardon, Tim Leary, Juan Samuel, and of course Randall Kirk Myers

Jeff Reardon and Dennis Ribant are both former mets/reds that have been accused of crimes. What would Larry Stahl think?

And then became a Red again as manager.

Tom Seaver no doubt.

I always thought Joe Nolan had a cool batting stance though.

That I actually have a memory of seeing it would have to be Randy Myers.

The mere mention of Alex Trevino, Greg Harris or Jim Kern makes me clench my fists.

Favorite? Maybe Robert Manual? ;)

Howard Johnson, by far.

Didn't hit for average but could hit homers like no one's business and also could steal a few bases if I remember correctly.

And then all of a sudden, he was done.

As far as his Reds career, you could say it was over before it started? :help:

Randy Myers...he never pulled punches. He's a straight shooter who always gave you everything he had.

when was benny agbayani a red?

Very briefly a few years ago, maybe about five years ago. Best I remember he was tied with Jeff Austin somehow.... we either traded Agbayani to KC for Austin, or we got Agbayani alongside Austin from the Royals for someone else. I don't remember the specifics, just that Agbayani and Austin were involved in the deal somehow with KC.

Vince Coleman? Maybe Tony Fernandez. Pete Schourek for one magical season. Josias Manzanillo was fun to ridicule. Brook Fordyce and Kelly Stinnett were valuable in the roles that they performed. Roberto Petagine will always leave me wondering what might have been.

I know we traded Doug Flynn to the Mets but didn't he come back and play one last year with the Reds before he retired?

He finished up with the Tigers and never played again for the Reds. If he ever received an invite to spring training later in his career, I don't remember it and he certainly didn't go north with the Reds.

LHP Al Jackson

LHP Gerry Arrigo went from the Reds to the Mets and back to the Reds.
