I just flipped over to Extra Innings while the Reds were in between innings and must have had perfect timing. I turned it on to the Nats-Marlins game just as Reggie Abercrombie came up. He laid down a bunt single and the throw went wide of first so he took off for second. The second basemen who backed up the play then threw the ball low and it skipped into left field, so Reggie chugged his way all the way home. While it wasn't actually scored as an inside the parker, it was probably one of the most exciting plays I've seen in a while.

Absolutely. A triple play may last 3 or 4 seconds. An inside the park homerun will take 15-20 seconds...longer lasting, more exciting.

The 27th out of a win or a winning hit.

I revise my previous vote.... the 27th out of a perfect game. So much tension built up, seeing it released is huge.

I'm a big fan of the stand-up triple. I don't know what it is about it...simple, effortless, cocky, doesn't bring people in the stands to their feet, just more subtle and effective.
