The game is far from over with Turnbow coming in and the top of the order.
Not tonight, he has the home crowd and a 3 run lead.

Clayton harmlessly flies to center, 1 out.

Is Freel hurt? why wouldn't he be pinch hitting?
I have no idea...

I'm sure Griffey will bail him out by swinging at something awful

The Brewer crowd is chanting lets go Turnbow. Reds fans I don't think would treat their struggling closer like that.

What a pitiful AB by Jr.

I don't care if the guy is throwing 97, he is throwing one pitch. No excuse to be late two times in a row there.

Aurilia 0-7 against Turnbow in his career.

As I leave this thread saddened by the loss....

You got em on Reds, you have to get em over and get em in though. You failed to reach that goal tonight.

Not the Red's best hour this year. These games that seem winnable but they just give away are starting to pile up. They have been playing well since the ASB but could have been playing much better. Still 2.5 up in the WC though so can't really complain.

Good job today, Cubs!

How is Hatte hitting lefties this year?

http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/5514/splits;_ylt=AkiF3wmso76qbvOfsR3XGtmFCLcF

I know he's on a tear recently, but why not put Rich at 1B since he can only hit lefties, and EE at 3b - since he also kills lefties. Seems you get the best bang for your buck that way. Then again, this is Narron. EE makes an amazing play to save the game yesterday, and he's rewarded with a day off.

In any other job getting a day off would be great. But not this one.

I know I am Monday morning quarterbacking but this was on the money.
