If you're serious, then my god, maybe he's figuring this out.......except for Clayton :D

I give Jerry credit for trying if this lineup is right. Swap Clayton with Phillips and most folks would be pretty happy with that defensive alignment.

And Hatteberg 2nd? Dunn cleanup? Aurilia 5th?

Thats almost great lineup construction. Who woulda thunk that

Phillips for Clayton and let's play ball boys!

Just can't bring himself to not play Clayton at SS.

Baby steps

BTW, Dunn needs to bat where he would get more RBI chances. I like the idea of Hatty 2nd but not necessarily against Maddux because he walks few and gets lots of grounders.

Maddox and Glavine have gotten more help from homeplate umps than anybody in the history of the game over their careers. I have to think that Bobby Cox has helped that by being such a hot head and being consistant in arguing balls and strikes.

that's a huge part of it.....also their ability to pitch it right to the glove. Even if it's 6 inches outside the ump says 'wow, he pitched it right where the catcher's glove was....must be a strike'

funny joke to change our luck:

This couple have a 5 year old that curses at the drop of a hat during normal conversations. They finally talk to a family councellor to decide what to do.

The councellor said, "Christmas is coming up. Ask him what he wants Santa to bring him. If he curses, give him dog poop under the tree. That will be his punishment.

When they got home they ask him. "Johnny what do you want Santa to bring you?" Johnny said, " I want a damn teddybear by my bed, I want a damn train set under the tree, and I want a damn bike parked up against the garage."

Christmas morning came and Johnny woke up and found dog poop by his bed, dog poop under the tree and when Johnny when outside he fould dog poop by the garage.

"what do you think of that" the father said. Johnny said, "well I think I got a damn puppy for Christmas but I can't find the damn thing."
