Swap Griffey and Dunn and this is my ideal line up (well and Phillips and Aurilla swap positions but w/e) Good to see our best 8 out there today. This is the best way to come back from a shutout

Im surprised the Cardinals didnt put Spiezio in at 3rd since hes a switch hitter.

Arroyo has 3 lefties to deal with:
Chris "Half my homeruns have come off Reds pitching" Duncan
Timo Perez
Aaron Miles

Aside from the Mets (who lead the East by 13 games), the Cardinals lead by 2.5 in the Central, and the Dodgers lead by 3.0 in the West.

In the Wild Card there's 9 teams within 5.5 games back of the Reds.

You claim to live in Phily just so you can avoid any RZ gathering so we can't ID you as George.

IMO, the ultimate judge of athletes is what they do "in the clutch." Defining "clutch" is a difficult task and sometimes I think people get too focused on an individual moment. Sometimes, clutch is picking up the pace when those around you are struggling.

In the thick of this race, where Junior and Dunn have gone silent, EE has become a real force. That shows a lot to me-- about all three guys to be honest.

Edwin Encarnacion will be a superstar in this game for many, many seasons.

David Wright will get all the publicity, but Edwin will be right there with him, and may even possibly surpass Wright. Edwin has the complete package: ability to hit for contact/BA, doubles power, home run power, plate discipline and phenomenal range at third base.

Once again, I find myself defending Narron :)

I don't think you can state for certain that EE was going to be doing this all season long had been playing more. Perhpas the limited PT helped him focus more? Perhaps in some way, it did some good? Especially considering he sat alot after returning from a nagging ankle sprain. I put question marks there because I'm not saying I know the answer, but I do think both sides of the issue need to be presented.

He was doing just fine before he got hurt. There is no way to spin this positively for Narron, he was flat wrong to ever sit this kid for an extended period of time. Flat out dumb move, he is one of our 8 best players, he must be on the field to give the team its best shot at winning. Narron is Miley and Boone with better pitching.

This is a Great lineup and i agree... vs LHP Aurilla plays 1B bats clean up.

Clayton or Castro can play SS on that day. Other wise i leave the lineup as it is today except for the days off...

If you wanna win ball games u need consistancy, and to get Consisitancy you gotta get players batting in the same spots daily... and seeing the same types of pitches...because of who is in front or behind them everyday...

However, your gonna toss a lineup out there time to time just to mix things up but eventually u need to just hold serve and stick with something for a bit.... dont fix it if it aint broke.

We should have the same lineup tomorrow night IMO.
