Has Narron finally figured out to keep him in the lineup?

The frickin' guy is carrying this team offensively right now.

Props to Encarnacion.

I think he's seeing the light:
"Encarnacion continues to swing the bat very well," manager Jerry Narron said. "It looks like he takes good at-bats every time. He is a young player that keeps showing signs of improvement, of making adjustments and getting better pitches."

I don't know if anyone expected this kinda production out of EdE: .302/.389/.550/.939

I didn't expect this kind of production, especially so quickly. He's hitting like someone who has been in the league for years. I have so much confidence in him. And to think, a few weeks ago he was probably a couple of errors and a 0-fer away from not even being in the lineup at all right now. Thankfully, he produced big-time in the small window of opportunity that Narooon gave him.

Maybe this was Narron's stradegy all along. Have Edwin get real hungry to play and by doing so makes Edwin more focused in proving he can play when given the opportunity. No, that would give Narron too much credit.

I corrected my error. I put the same SLG% for both players.

It's a shame he's not elligible for Rookie of the year. Dunn wasn't either.
