I thought so too. It's age prejudice. Junior is 36, so he has to be slowing down and getting worse. Heck, he kills us in center and he's worthless at bat. Of course, he's the reason we're tied--he and Edwin, but never mind. He should retire...

I'm still in amazement..did Narron just let Milton hit with the bases loaded and 2 outs in the 6th?

Yes. Yes he did. And he did so hoping that running out a pitcher who plays with matches while wearing a gasoline suit wouldn't light himself on fire.

Encarnacion partially atones for Narron's mistake by plating a Run, but when you get a chance like the top of the 6th you take advantage of it; particularly when on the road. And I'm getting awful tired of Reds players having to make up for Narron's shortcomings.

Listening to the Giants radio here in PDX and was 3-0 about a half hour back.

I can't believe he let Milty pinh hit with the bases jacked in the 6th. Need a level of URGENCY not shown in the Cards game last Thursday and possibly the Astros game today. Chance to tie for the division lead

I'm not sure what the options were there. After keeping Milty in the game made 100% sense to start him in the inning and he did get two (scary) outs. Narron did learn to pull him after somebody reached base.

Chulk may bring it at 94, but that doesn't mean he's that great of a pitcher. His career best ERA for a season is 3.88, and he tops out at about seven Ks per nine innings (i.e. average). Pretty forgettable, just like everyone else in the SF bullpen.
