Not this game specifically, but as I watched the double off the wall there I thought about something. Every time we have gotten into first place or had a big series win we have followed it up with a 5-6 game tank job. My fear is that we are seeing that once again unfold in front of us.

The Giants are fired up, the Reds are just going through the motions. Someone on this team needs to get thrown out of the game or something to get everyone's attention. When you are lazy in the field, don't run out ground balls, don't even attempt to make it to first on a passed ball..... that is lifeless, whether you are hitting or not

You had dominant back to back series wins, a major comeback the first game, and then you had your THREE best pitchers starting, Harang, Arroyo, and Lohse the next 3 games. What the heck else could you want? They just blew it, and its just going to be another key series you can look back on and say what if, if the Reds don't make the playoffs. End up tied with St. Louis, and 3 days later we're probably going to be 3 back. Just ridiculous.

I don't know about anyone else but these last 3 games have made me sick. This offense looks horrid!! They are taking a ton of strikes. I absolutely do not understand. How many times have they fouled out today?? It seems like every batter has done that. I don't know what everyone else thinks...but a total of 13 hits and 2 runs in the past 25 innings ( past two games plus the first 7 innings today) is unbelievable. The sad thing is, it does not get any better for the next week. I am scared, they better break out of this funk fairly quickly or their playoff hopes will be long gone!!
