No Clayton and no LaRue. It's a start. They at least have a shot at this game. They need a sweep here badly to get back on track. It would be swell to see them reel off about 6 or 7 wins.

No Clayton and no LaRue. It's a start. They at least have a shot at this game.

When Jason Larue starts the Reds have a winning record so I wouldn't say that he is hurting the team that bad.

That's because Harang is pitching.

When Jason Larue starts the Reds have a winning record so I wouldn't say that he is hurting the team that bad.

He's Harang's catcher so that stat is a little skewed. He's a liability at the plate and after the the last game his defense looked awful too.

There's rarely any LaRue.

I know, but I have seen him in there more times than I would like. I wish Harang would use Ross instead.

Nice job by Freel in the 1st inning. I really think as he goes the Reds go. Which leads me to believe the Reds really need to pick up an everyday leadoff hitter that can make contact and have a great OBP. When the Reds were really clicking this season it was Freel and Lopez at the top of the order.

OH MY!!!! They just show Majewski warming up in the pen. I sure do hope they don't bring him in, I just have a terrible feeling about that. Bring him in when it is really BIG mop-up time, not in a relatively 'near-reach' game. Let's just hope that Narron can make the correct choice.

I know in one of his recent rehab assignments he struck out the 3 batters he faced in an inning of work. Maybe he is healthy and will look like the pitcher the Reds thought they were trading for.

That's what we can only hope for, but right now, with the Reds trying to break out of this funk that they are in, I would much rather see him get his first work back from rehab/DL during a different game that wouldnt mean as much (ie in this case breaking this losing skid)...although maybe I am being a tad bit paranoid though.

well hey...maybe not hit to the correct person, but at least I had the DP called.....

now let's try to rub some more of this luck...the reds win their next 10 games and the Cardinals lose their next 10 games with the Reds regaining the lead in the Central by a fairly large margin....wouldn't that be nice.
