Joey Votto won the Southern League batting title with a .319 average. See this link (http://www.minorleaguebaseball.com/app/milb/stats/stats.jsp?sid=milb&t=l_bat&lid=111). He also hit 22 HRs, (2nd in League), 77 RBIs, (3rd in League), a .408 OBP(1st), and .547 slugging (1st). His OPS of .956 was 80 points higher than the next highest batter in the Southern League! He rakes...

The prospect thread on Joey Votto mentions all his other honors this year. See THIS LINK (http://www.redszone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45149).

I wonder if the Reds will call him up for a 'cup of coffee' after the playoffs are over in Chatanooga?

Why not. I think we should try to have every player on the 40 man roster up at the same time. They might have to expand the dugout. ;)
