4-2 lead against giants blown, insurance runs given up by majewski, franklin coffey. Scheonweise has been money so for this reward he gets to pitch less

I can see the logic that he could of been used more but he is the closer.

You have to have that guy that you use in save situations. The problem has been, not enough save situations.

Its been up to the rest of the team to get to the point where we need SS. But it hasn't happened very often.

While the bullpen has been far from perfect, I think more blame should be placed on the inconsistent and frankly lethargic offense. Can Scott hit?!? ;)

4-2 lead against giants blown

Which game was this?

REDS vs. Giants
(1) 6-3, REDS.
(2) 4-1, Giants.
(3) 4-1, Giants.
(4) 8-0, Giants.
(5) 5-4, Giants (Harang gives up 4ER in 8IP).
(6) 3-0, REDS.
(7) 3-2, Giants.

Okay... I guess your description confused me (doesn't take much to do that!), redsupport. You must mean other games in which the relievers you mentioned were used instead of Schoeneweis. IIRC Weathers gave up a 2-out solo HR in the 10th to let SF pull ahead and win 5-4 in the "challenge Barry in the 8th" game... which of course backfired when Harang threw a bad pitch. :)
