I have been a Narron Fan since he was giving the job(being from North Carolina and all). But I do not understand his willingness to start Clayton,Laure and Holly/Hopper/Denorfia when we are fighting for a playoff position. Should'nt this be the time of year you put your best 9 on the field and live or die with them.:bang: :help:

With Griffey out, one of those outfielders is going to have to play each night, so I don't get the beef with Holly/Hopper/Denorfia. There's no getting around that. With regards to Clayton, he's done alright this week, batting about .273with some limited run production. And LaRue's only played in one game, so I'm not sure what the beef is there.

I appericate the input. Just frustrated I guess. Finally having a leginament shot at post season for the first time in a long time. I want to win every game.
Don't take me wrong I'm still pulling for them harder than I have all year I think this is when the fans are needed the most.

Narron needs hot players in the lineup, to be sure. The problem is he's having a hard time finding hot players.

I think it's so odd that it's our offense that's caused us to slip over the past couple of weeks. We all thought that if the Reds faltered, pitching would be the culprit. I'm holding out hope that their dry spell is over and we're going to start scoring 6-7 runs per game the rest of the way out.

I've avoided most of the lineup gnashing of teeth, but at this late date it's not a time for Narron to get too tricky or cute with a line up.

Go back through the records from this season and see which line up produced the most runs. Send it on the field. Repeat.

I know thats not going to happen, but I think thats our best lineup right now.
