If the Cubs offered Prior for Dunn, is that deal worth the risk from the Reds vantage point?

Dunn's trade value is down but not as much as Prior's trade value

No. Too much of an injury risk.

I'd offer the Cubs Milton for Prior. No way would I trade Dunn, or EE for that matter, for Prior.

I wouldn't trade Dunn for Prior AND Kerry Wood. Yikes.

Lets see, a productive major league hitter (despite what some on here may think) for an injury prone pitcher who has started 14 games the past 2 years...I don't think so Tim.

Do you know how hard it is to find images of King Arthur from Monty Python's Search for the Holy Grail?

Oooh! And maybe the Cubs will exercise Kerry Wood's $13.5 million option and we can get him too.

Everyone else was saying no. I thought the "Yes" column looked a little lonely.

Absolutely not. The Cubs have this tendancy to take good/promising players and ruin them.

How about Travis Wood and Denorfia for Prior?

No. Maybe Travis Wood for Prior. I would then sit Prior for half a year and pitch him from the bullpen the rest of the year. I wouldn't start him until 2008.

Expensive and injured, stay very far away.

Unless they would take Milton for him.
