With the way contracts are going for MLB players when do you think the first 1 billion dollar contract will come? Discuss.

Probably not in a long long long time. The big boys are in the 130 million range, so we're still 8 or 9 time away from it.

The TV contracts are in the neighborhood of $1 billion now, so those would have to increase to at least $10 billion before players could reel in that kind of dough.
