Ah, the best cigar rollers fled to the Domincan anyway, but the soil is better there (Cuba).

At first I thought Juan Castro got attacked by a squirrel or something.

C'mon, Juan's got the range to duck out of the way of a rabid squirrel.

Actually he tried to stand his ground and hit the squirrel with a stick but unfortunately he missed.

No, he hit it, but the squirrel knocked the stick out of his hands.

Flew over Cuba 10 years ago on my way to Grand Cayman. From 30,000 feet, the view is absolutely stunning.

If I ever run for office, Cuba as state #51 will be part of my platform.

There were some politicans in the Antebellum South who advocated the same thing, albeit for different reasons.
I expect that Fidel Castro will soon literally be in a "grave condition."

Shouldn't this thread be titled, "Castro goes deep in the hole...."?

I figure post-Castro Cuba will be a lot like post-Franco Spain. Within a decade the entire country will just sort of organically become something different.
