We have Conine I dont understand all the hate for Finley, he would make a decent 4 or 5th OFer IMO.

If you are going to go with an ancient player, might as well go with a talented one. I agree that Finley wouldn't have been a horrible sign under the right circumstances. I wouldn't want his presence costing a guy like Denorfia or Hamilton a job, though.

I'm no big fan of Conine, but what would finley add over him?

We have many better options in CF than Finley and he can't hit anymore. Conine should be of some use of a platoon guy for Hatteberg even if he wans't one of the top options available for that role.

Conine will get way too many ABs.

That's probably true, but you can say the same for Finley. Andeven though Conine aint great, he sure beats the hell out of Finley.
