Such a great, great feeling to have baseball back! Here is the Reds lineup for the first game down in Florida:

Ryan Freel CF
Brandon Phillips 2B
Edwin Encarnacion 3B
Adam Dunn LF
Mark Belhorn 1B
Josh Hamilton RF
Alex Gonzalez SS
David Ross C
Eric Milton P

Let's let today be a day to celebrate the return of baseball. Let's all take a day off from grumbling about what is or is not going on with the team. Just take a day to let it soak in....

Baseball is back!!!!!

Edit: Conine was in the original lineup, but has been replaced with Belhorn.

Phillips hitting second? Gonzalez ahead of Ross? Dunn not hitting second?

Also, very concerned about who is hitting behind Dunn. Hope it's not really Bellhorn. Dunn needs some protection in this lineup.

Not sure that three years ago in A ball Hamilton hit that well in the sixth slot. Would prefer him hitting second. Oh, but Dunn is supposed to be hitting there.

Just starting things off, that's all.

I just laugh because it's the 1st time they have heard of him. That article was in the enquirer days ago. Funny how that works. Just got a kick out of it.
