On the front page I just noticed something

Adam Dunn and Juan Encarnacion hit back-to-back homers in the sixth, and Chad Moeller's pinch-hit double drove in a pair in the seventh as the Reds rallied to take down the Pittsburgh Pirates, 6-4, on Wednesday afternoon at Ed Smith Stadium.*

Not a big deal but still funny.

Did Mike Belisle pitch today?

;)

No, it was Austin Harang

Thanks!

By the way, I didn't see the game. How far was Scott Dunn's homer?

I haven't heard. Did you hear Jose Valentin made two great plays at 1B?

Ken Griffey Sr. had a RBI today pretty good news. I'm not sure about Dunn's homer though.

Did Daniel Ross throw any would-be stealers out?

No, but he and Juan Gonzalez each went 0-3.

What do you all think about Narron batting Andy Phillips 3rd? Personally, I'd put Ramon Castro there.

Edwin Denorfia for lead off!

We might as well face it, trading Luis Lopez and Aaron Kearns to Washington was nothing but a bust that will only hurt our Cincinatti Reds for years to come.

You weren't happy with Lenny Majeskwi or Dicky Bray? And what was that one guys name...that shortstop? Oh yeah! Mercedes Clayton.

Lenny Harris was the key to that deal and Wayne sent him away.

He left injured and was replaced by Cody Ross.

I just hope the season that Luis Arroyo had last year was not a mirage - I'd hate to see the club sell him to the Yankees for a hill of beans and have an all-star season over there.

Just stopping by to name drop that I am with redsupport in that I would really like for Ron Santos to be in the Reds' opening day bullpen.

Lou Prokopec

His name is equal to or getter than Joel Hamiliton, another amazing opening day starter for us.

I wish the Reds HAD Bobby Crosby to send down to the minors. A good fielding but often injured short-stop.

All these years of rumors that he was going to the Giants, Yankees or Senators, I can't believe we've finally got Fidel Castro, appropriately on the Reds - and he'll fit in our bullpen very well - although the cigar smoking might be problematic here in Ohio.
