Dang, just about to post this.

Bad news for the Reds. Steady Freddy is back.

Wasn't Burton put on the DL to make room for Milton?

Props to Narron for that.

Beat me to it. I was expecting to see Hamilton RF (good), Castro 3B (bleh) and Moeller C (Yuck!)

All the regulars are in. And on a travel day, too!

I think Narron put in the regular lineup due to the fact that Milton is pitching and he knows he's gonna need a LOT of offense today.

Shouldnt have pitched Saarloos yesterday. He's gonna need him today.

It's nice to see you have confidence in Milton to pitch a good game.

Yesterday was not Harang-like....won't be the rule, but rather the exception.

Milton's exception is pitching well.

I've tried for the past couple years to have Milton's back, and figure out a way to justify his struggles.....it can't be done. The pressure is on now, especially given the way the other 4 starters have performed.

Milton's job is to get us as many decent innings as he can the first 3 months of the season. After that, the club will have more flexibility, and won't have to rely upon him then. For now, the club does rely heavy upon him to get it done. He's a tough guy, as tough as anyone on the team. Heck, he has to listen to all of the hecklers and still try to perform. I don't know...I'd be slightly alright with a repeat of last year from Milton, sans major meltdowns. He barely gave up more hits than IP...I don't know.

Boy I don't like defending Milton....but it's not like Narron did him any favors on some of those meltdowns.
