I haven't been to a game yet this year, but my boss is an idiot and he love's Jr's entrance music but he can't remember what it is. Can anyone tell me what song they use?

He may have multiple songs, but I know one is "Ridin" by Chamillionaire.

Not Richard Stamos?

Everyone knows Richard Stamos can't hit the high notes.

He does have multiple songs. I can't remember the first one I heard, but Ridin played during his second AB and was his batting song most of last year.

I really like Dunn's selection this year: the chorus of Sister Christian and the part where the drums come in on "In the Air Tonight" by Phil Collins.

This is from Lance McCalister's blog

Anyone notice the "at-bat" song that Jr has used this season?
I did not....but this was pointed out by listener Joe Y.
The song is by a female British rapper named Lady Sovereign.
The song is called "Love me or Hate me" and the chorus
goes (the part played at GABP):
Love me or hate me
It's still an obsession
Love me or hate me
That is the question
If you love me than...
Thank you
And if you hate me than
_____ you (of course no F-bomb in the edited version)

Well that's a pretty good selection for GABP.

Dunn comes up to "Sister Christian" by Night Ranger as well I'm pretty sure

Dunn comes out to the following three songs (or at least he did during the last homestand) --

Sister Christian
Jukebox Hero
Big Shot

I took an informal poll in the stands and we all agreed that someone should punk Ryan Freel and have "My Ding-A-Ling" play for an AB sometime.

Dunn played Big Shot last year too. I always liked that selection.

Because you had to be a big shot, didn't cha
You had to open up your mouth
You had to be a big shot, didn't cha
All your friends were so knocked out
You had to have the last word, last night
You know what everything's about
You had to have a white hot spotlight
You had to be a big shot last night

You are of course right.... I never understood that song until I looked up the lyrics just now. I always heard "Motor-head" when it says "I'm Motoring"

Makes a lot more sense now.

The Phil Collins bit is new this year. I heard it Saturday when I was at the game.

C. Trent said Griffey came up to the Soul Glo jingle from Comming to America yesterday. I love that movie. Apparently it's Jr's ringtone on his cell.

If you guys havent noticed by now...Junior's music alwasy has an underlying message to it. It may be funny or it may be a hint toward the way people look at here here in Cincy (example: the love me/hate me song).

In the past his songs have been:

"So Icey" by Gucci Mane
"Ridin Dirty" by Chamillionaire
"Game Over" by Lil Flip ----- My favorite

"Accidents Will Happen" by Elvis Costello
"Everybody Hurts" by REM
"Shattered" by The Rolling Stones
"Broken Wings" by Mr. Mister
"China Girl" by David Bowie
"Heart of Glass" by Blondie
"Hurts So Good" by Johnny Cougar Mellencamp

His best one was, undoubtedly, "Get By" by Talib Kweli. Not only is it a great song, it also really fit for his situation trying to come back from injury.
