That was the 9-20 slide the Reds went on right before the all-star break last year. I understand the argument that it was a lot easier division last year, but the Reds were in this race until that dreaded West Coast trip. All of a sudden, a 15-20 start doesn't look THAT bad. Sure I would have liked a better start, but whose to say we wont go on a run now like we did at the beginning of last year?

The Brewers will come back to Earth on this road trip. Let's keep the faith people.... There is A LOT of baseball to be played.

That's a good point, but also this year they aren't necessarily playing with the pressure of having something to lose like they were last year. I have a different attitude about the trip this time.

The Reds were only 4 games back at the end of that slide. They were still in the thick of the race even after that terrible stretch. They are already at 9.5 back right now with the west coast trip looming.

The Reds need to kick it into gear and win now or they'll be out of it all by the end of May.

They're 9.5 behind the Brewers, but "only" 7 back in the wild card...:(

We were in first place as late as August even after the 9-20 stretch.

Unless the Brew Crew of 2007 are analogous to the Tigers of 2006, or the White Sox of 2005. Stranger things have happened. In fact, it seems to happen nearly every year.

The Brewers are a pretty good team, not great, but pretty darn good. I don't see them finishing a few games above .500 like the Cards did last year.
