Now, he's never going to walk alot, shown by his OBP, but he does everything else well. Good power, good average, great speed, great D.

He's not regressing to the mean, and he appears to be the real deal.

Kind of like Cano in a way with never walking, but BP has more power and Cano hits for average better. So maybe not so alike:confused:

I agree. I like Brandon Phillips a lot. I think he a decent chance at 30/30 this year. Like you said, his plate discipline is poor at this point but I'm hoping that will improve as he gains more experience. If he could just get that OBP up around the .345-.350 range...
