Flip Hatteberg and Hamilton and it looks good. Hamilton is in a funk and I'm not very optomistic with him going up against Peavy.

Gotta say I don't mind this lineup either - with what Jerry has to work with anyway.

Am I the only one who wouldn't mind seeing Moeller instead of Ross right now? Separate comment, I know Ross is Arroyo's boy.

After last night's game I'd like to see Moeller alot more. Or maybe just when Harang pitches.

After last night's game I'd like to see Moeller alot more. Or maybe just when Harang pitches.

Also Ross is hitless for his career against Peavy, while Moeller has at least had some success.

Flip Junior and Dunn and that's the lineup I'd post. Still, I like it.
You want Junior hitting in the 5 hole as well as he's hitting?

I still like Dunn in the 2 hole because of his high OBP and the protection Junior offers behind him.

Hamilton might see more fastballs in the 2 hole if Freel is on first...of course, Freel has to actually get on base.

Freel against Peavy: 2 for 13, 7 K's

I called it... Wasn't that hard of a call but everyone else said they were this years Tigers. I'm just not seeing it...

I would have liked to see Hopper in the lineup tonight, a contact hitter against a strike out pitcher.... I don't know who I would have benched though.

Reds are a much better team against guys like Peavy as opposed to Wells/Maddux. Peavy misses with a few then he's got to come into the strike zone with the gas--and a lot of these guys can turn on a FB. Pump strikes all night on the corners and the Reds are dead.

K's matter.

Some of those people are right. K's don't matter. . . . in certain situations. I don't mind if a player strikes out after a 6 pitch AB. . . at least he makes a pitcher work. Also, K'ing with a guy on 3rd <2 outs or RISP w/ 2 outs really frustrates me.

what is up with the number of the pitchers behind the mound? Like a dog pissing to mark it's terrritory.....Bush league IMO:thumbdown

If I were Arroyo, I would be tempted to scratch it out, but I think it would be best to just ignore it. But if they do the same thing to the GABP mound, then the Reds pitchers should definitely rub it out!

Uhhh, what?

In regards to our offense not being good and strikeouts aren't bad.

I realize we may be 12th in the league or whatever in runs scored or whatnot.

I then replied with we're 25th in the league w/ RISP and 2 outs with a .217 average. I forgot to mention 33 K's in that situation which means we're K'ing once every 4.6 AB's. So to say that strikeouts is overrated is laughable. . in my opinion anyway.
