Dunn to the Twins for Kevin Slowey.


The Twins trade one of their strength's, young pitching, for a need, power. If they let let Dunn walk they get two first round draft picks and can pick another Slowey.

from everything i've heard about slowey is that he doesnt have an out pitch. I would do that trade possibly if it was Jr instead of Dunn.

The only young Twins pitcher I trade Dunn for straight up is Matt Garza. Dunn for Slowey would a really bad deal for the Reds.

Wow. I looked at Slowey's minor league numbers and I was very impressed. I guess he just can't get major leaguers out on a consistant basis.

He certainly could someday, but it's not a sure thing. If I trade my most valuable piece, I want it to be a sure thing. If not, then just keep him.

If we move Dunn, then I want Matt Kemp coming back. If not Kemp, then Saltalamacchia.

Kemp, Hamilton, and Bruce would be an epic outfield of the future.

Slowey gave up alot of homers in his stint earlier this year...Im thinking that may not play well at our park. I'd hold out for Garza as well.

I am pretty sure the Reds will want 2 or 3 prospects instead of 1; unless you get a Homer Bailey-type prospect

I'd want Garza before Slowey but I'm not sure the Twins would do that. If the Reds trade Dunn for Slowey and another decent pitching prospect I won't be too upset.

Um, Kevin Slowey is pretty much the equvilent of nothing. I'd rather have the draft picks.

I think Dunner might end up in San Diego, they are looking for a BIG BAT, not saying scott linebrink is an answer but the word is what it is.

San Diego doesn't really have a whole lot that I'd want. Would they give us Cla Meredith and Chase Headley for Dunn? Would that be enough on our end of the deal? And I don't think we'd ask for Linebrink unless we signed him to an extention in that 48 hour window that you get to negotioate a contract before a trade.
