The Dayton News reported today that Gonzalez was moved from the bereavement list to the restricted list.
Anyone here tell me what that means?

That means that the team still has rights to this player, but that he's not on any of the lists or roster spots (40 man, DL, Bereavement...etc.). Thus a move must take place in order for him to get back on the roster. This was probably done to give him as much time possible with his ailing son.
