Redman, I think we must have posted updates at almost exactly the same time. Stubbs is 1-3 with his 21st double.

Anyone think Francisco will get a promotion before the season is over?

I think he probably plays out the season in Dayton. He has a lot to work on still.

Dayton lost 2-1 in 10.

Ramon Geronimo should probably be out of Dayton. Carlos Guevara should probably be in Louisville. Those were the two that popped into my head right away.

And, of course, Justin Turner doug.

And, of course, Justin Turner doug.

While I think Turner deserves one, the other two guys I mentioned are being dominant and have been almost all season. Turner has been very good, but the other two have been quite dominant.

I wouldn't protest if Danny Dorn got a lateseason bump to AA. He's really hit well after a bad April.

Whoah. The main story on minorleaguebaseball.com is that Tulsa hitting coach Mike Coolbaugh died in a hospital last night after being struck in the head by a foul ball. Only on the job three weeks.

Sad, sad, sad.

Is anyone have trouble listening to the games tonight?

At this point in the season, I would rather some of these guys stay put, especially if their teams are playoff bound. Those kind of pressure games could be very valuable for their development.

Surprised no one posted this but Jay Bruce had a triple. He is 1-4 on the night with 1 K as well.

Votto just struck out, 3rd K this game, 0-5. Game is going to bottom of 10th.

Chattanooga takes a 6-5 lead. Adam Rosales is 2-4 with a walk, double and a solo HR. Drew Anderson also has a solo HR.

Bray with another fine outing. 2 hitless innings pitched with 4 ks. If you exclude his first outing with Louisville he now has 19 ks in just 11 IP. Reds bullpen probably can't use a guy like that. :)

Third rounder Scott Carroll pitched well in a short outing in his professional debut at Billings - 2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, and 2 SO.

Also Todd Frazier hit his 2nd homer in the last two games. Brandon Waring hit his 2nd in the last two games as well.

Bats lost 3-2 in 10

Dickerson: 1-3, RBI, BB, K
Votto: 0-5, 3 K
Bruce: 1-4, 3B, K
Janish: 1-4
Bray: 2 IP, 2 BB, 4 K, 0 R

Went to the Dayton game again. Francsico and Guerro looked good, not much besides that. Had a good time talking to the bullpen guys again.

Ramon Geronimo should probably be out of Dayton. Carlos Guevara should probably be in Louisville. Those were the two that popped into my head right away.

I mentioned at the beginning of the season that Guevara will help the big club, and soon, imo. The guy just destroyed hitters last year as well, no?

THe BP of the future is shaping up...please hurry, kids!

Just trying something here. Guevara is looking awful nasty, statistically speaking.

Why is Bray still in the minors? He looks like he is fully healed from that line.
