I havent heard him on the radio the past two games.They do show alot of Reds games now where i'm at,however none of this series yet.So I didnt know if he was on tv filling in for someone.

Guy just had a new baby - maybe he's taking it easy for a couple of weeks.

The Reds essentially have an "extra" broadcaster with George, Chris, Marty, Thom, and Jeff. I think they had some predetermined "vacations" scheduled for everyone but Marty to even the workload. I think that's why they had a sub for George when his mother died.

I agree, Marty and Thom together are sometimes hard on the ears. I don't know why, but they are.....and i like both of them.

it would be nice if they just went with 3 announcers for everything, have welsh do all the games, and marty and thom rotate.

thats the perfect, but unrealistic scenario, lol.

Yes the ''thats true dad'',and ''you know dad'' lines are kinda strange.Its funny when Thom makes a dumb statement which he has alot in his first year,Marty argues and corrects him and it reminds me of an angry dad lecturing his son.
