I wasn't old enough to remember Concepcion playing but he was my dad's favorite player so we had this game marked down on our calendar for awhile. We got there pretty early and they were showing a press conference featuring Concepcion and the rest of the BRM including Bench, Morgan, Perez, Griffey, Foster, Sparky, and Lee May. Those guys were having a blast, you should have heard some of the stories and jokes these guys were telling. It was very neat to see.

The ceremony was very first class and very emotional. To see all that greatness out on the field honoring Concepcion was very special. You could tell how much it meant to Davey because he could barely get through his speech, I only wish I had the chance to see him play...
