Anyone else surprised that Mack is sticking with EdE over Kepp @ 3B? I mean, his production has picked up a lot as of late and his glove has continued to improve. I think it's a good thing.

No way this would've happened under Narron.

Five lefties and three that can't be trusted and one righty that mimics a can of gasoline. Pete's options are limited if the starter can't get through 6.

if that is a problem he has ZERO business being on the roster. WK has stuck the pen with bad lefties and so few righties he has to use D'Artangnan in tough situations.

Matt700wlw
08-31-2007, 10:41 PM
I'm more bothered that Eddie was warmed up 3 times tonight before being used than the fact he was actually used...

I don't think warming up somebody 3 times is a recipe for success...Brantley even pointed that out...that's pushing it. He was a reliever....He said if you're going to warm up a 3rd time, either use him or sit him because it'll wear him out more...well, they used him.

It may not have mattered, but a fresher Eddie MAY have been more effective.

And you can trust Majewski and Guardado?

Give me a break. The last two relievers I'd bring in in that situation were those two. Stanton (as much as I loathe him) might have been a better choice than Guardado--not good but better.
