...on a minor league contract. They are former superstar Shawn Green (OF) and former Philly Mike Lieberthal (c). Lieberthal is now 36 and Green is 35 years old. Each has suffered major power drops and thus may be available on the cheap. Would you take on these two if you could sign them to a minor-league contract with an offer to spring training + incentives if the make the team and open the season as a Cincinnati Reds player?

If one of the outfielders are traded namely Freel or Hopper, I would jump on bringing in Green at the right price. As far as Lieberthal, I offerhim the chance to make the major league team but given a minimal contract +a few incentives to seal the deal. More competition always helps.
Sorry. These stats aligned beautifully until I clicked on "Save". Again, sorry for the mess.
