Watched todays game here in Sarasota. It was 8-2 in 5 1/2 innings. Chris Dickerson made a nice play in right field and Votto made a nice play at 1st. Gil had two hits, Bruce one and I think it was Andy Green who hit the only homer. Cueto looked best among the pitchers who threw one inning each. He pitched a 1-2-3 inning and hit 98 on the gun.

Good to hear about Cueto, however I would attribute a lot of it to playing winter ball and having his arm in playing shape.
Does anyone have any concern about Cueto tiring out, since he didn't have much of an off season?

I'm more concerned about possible injury considering his frame and age. I hope the Reds limit his innings and pitch count carefully. Hiting 98 is impressive whether its first game preseason or mid-season. I didn't know he could throw quite that hard. I'm very glad they haven't traded him.

I don't think he'll tire, because honestly I don't expect him to get normal playing time this year anyway. I think he'll pitch 140 innings at most this year.

Go Johnny Go.
By many accounts or reports, many believe Cueto may be the best of the Bailey/Cueto combo.

Makes me think of the signature someone has up that says they'll buy the board a round if Cueto hits 96 at GABP.

EE booted a ball but he also had a nice play.

Brandon grounded into a 1st inning DP (5-4-3)

Drew Anderson (not Green) hit the only HR.

He threw 193 innings last year including Winter Ball. I just kinda wonder if he'll be given a real shot at making the rotation out of camp given that he hasn't even pitched much at Triple-A.

I think he said at GAB,this is the first I've heard of 98,maybe the gun was a homer. From what I've read Cueto pitches 91-93 and can dial up to 96. I guess full throtle at some 98 isn't impossible.
