TAMPA, Fla. -- Left-handed reliever Bill Bray is finally approaching a game situation for the Reds.
Bray has been held back at Spring Training because of a sore left shoulder, but he worked in his second simulated game on Sunday, throwing 34 pitches, and is scheduled to appear in Wednesday's game against the Phillies.
"Bray is progressing," Reds manager Dusty Baker said. "He might be ready for game action pretty soon, maybe [Tuesday] or the next day."
