Bray inching closer to return
Reds reliever throws 34 pitches during simulated game
By Mark Sheldon / MLB.com

TAMPA, Fla. -- Left-handed reliever Bill Bray is finally approaching a game situation for the Reds.

Bray has been held back at Spring Training because of a sore left shoulder, but he worked in his second simulated game on Sunday, throwing 34 pitches, and is scheduled to appear in Wednesday's game against the Phillies.

"Bray is progressing," Reds manager Dusty Baker said. "He might be ready for game action pretty soon, maybe [Tuesday] or the next day."

this kid just needs to stay healthy plan and simple. He can be a linchpin of the bullpen from the left side. He just has to keep his arm healthy and dusty needs to realize that and not overuse him.
