stud, w/o a doubt the one word that should be stricken from every mans baseball vocabulary.

75% of what comes out of George Grande's mouth.

and 94% of Chris Welsh's "commentary"
All catch-phrases on ESPN. And since every third word spoken on ESPN in the summer is "Red Sox" or "Yankees" I'd qualify them as overused as well. :D
I'd rather listen to Grande and Welsh any day than put up with any descriptions by the various ESPN commentators.

I am a fan of flithy, nasty, stuff, & stud. I do however loath "hum babe" and anything that comes out of George Grande's mouth.:D

I guess we shouldn't use rake either?

Great play. I guess that's used too much in all sports though. It takes something like Freel robbing Pujols to be great.

I think that we're going to get very very tired of hearing Grande say "Coco Cordero".

I've always liked "rake." Also like "knock" and even better when someone gets a "base knock."

George Grande calling baseball teams by nicknames that are not their nicknames: ex. "Redbirds" or "Buccos"

Buccos gets very disturbing, lol.

"bang-bang play" has always annoyed me for some reason.
Also, any Grande[ism] should automatically apply to this thread.
If anyone posts "six four three, yes-siree!!" it's already been covered...
