Watson going back to the pen? If so, I'm OK with that. He seems like he may have a wicked two-pitch arsenal, and it could accelerate his timetable.

I really don't get the Votto as DH thing. We've seen that a few times now. Just keeping him fresh and getting Hatteberg time in the field? I'm encouraged with Keppinger batting 2nd though. Having him on base really makes the offense flow.

It must be odd though to have spring training across town from the regular season ballpark. It saves packing the truck for the big trip north.

From listening to the FSN interview of the Rays manager, Maddon, it's apparent that the Rays have made a trade for an outfielder or are close to having a trade finalized. When asked about the 4th outfielder situation, Maddon said that they were still looking possibly to make an acquisition for the 4th spot. Maybe by the end of the day they would have more information.
