Is the "this is going to help the offense" spin machine still working, or has Yost admitted Kendall isn't the great hitter he once was yet (though so far, in a small sample size, he's doing pretty good)?

I'd take that, but I do not expect him to throw a gem every time out. I look for 6 IP 7 H 3 ER 6 K. A quality start is all I'm asking.

Bill Hall definitely has been the epitome of Reds Killer the last 3+ years.

Given the quality of pitcher he's had to face from the Reds during that time period, the only surprising thing is that his numbers aren't higher.

The franchise created a lot of "Reds Killers" by pitching guys like Ortiz, Milton, Claussen, Ramirez, Mays, etc. on a nightly basis.

You said a mouthful there. The big free agent Milton, the can't miss Claussen, the big acquisition Ortiz--what a mess. And that doesn't take into account the disasters Ramirez (after Jerry robbed him of all his confidence) and Mays were.

I was surprised to see that Bill Hall only batted .250 or so last year. He'd have only batted .220 if not for the Reds.

Dunn's overpaid (imagine 9 milion for all those Ks what are those folks in Cincy thinking?), Cueto's another Zach Duke (I had to laugh when I read that one) and Coco was a fool to leave the Brewers for the lowly Reds. "He chose money over winning." I hope he saves every game.
